DESCRIPTION:July 1 - 31\, 2022\n\n \n\nGet ready for MHLC's Summer Hike-a-thon Scavenger Hunt!\n\nThis year there will be painted bird cutouts hidden at all 22 preserves.\n\nNEW in 2022: We're teaming with Art on the Rail Trail to expand the scavenger hunt! You can find bird-themed creations all along the Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail! The Scavenger hunt begins on Friday\, July 1\, and ends on July 31.\n\n\n\nLet the fun begin! Follow the steps below to get started:\n\n	Use the button below to register for the event. Clues will be sent to registered participants before July 1.\n	Visit an MHLC Preserve or search the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail for birds or bird-themed pieces.\n\n	The bird creations will remain in the the preserves and on the Rail Trail all through the month of July.\n	Take a selfie with it! We love group photos\; each person in the photo who is registered gets an ice cream card!\n	Send your selfies to connect@mohawkhudson.org before the August 5th deadline to receive the following:\n\n	- An ice cream card from Stewart's Shops\,\n\n	- One entry in the drawing to win one of the Rail Trail artworks\,\n\n	- One entry to win the grand prize\, a unique birdhouse from Wildbird Junction in Delmar\, and\n\n	- Coupon from Wildbird Junction
