New Strategies to apply to your walk: Self-care strategies to optimize lymph flow, tissue mobility, muscles efficiency before and during your walk.
The PACE Walking Program is inspired by the MindBody foundational principles of Jospeh Pilates and the Tai Chi exercise regimes. These concepts include breathing awareness, joint alignment, coordination, and controlled movement. The class is also inspired by the Automatic Core Engagement® and CoreFirst® strategies developed by the Institute of Physical Art which assist your body with automatically firing your core during functional movement - most functional task being: THE WALK! Class is designed to bring increased mind body connection and awareness and breath to your daily walking routine. You will be instructed in a dynamic stretching warm up and drills that will help your body identify proper alignment, posture, muscle activation, and breathing patterns when you walk.
