Strides 4 STRIDE 6th Annual Race & Community Awareness Walk
An official Olympic Day event, the Strides 4 STRIDE Run, Walk 'n' Roll is a fun, family-friendly event that features:

- a 5k race for runners and self-propelled wheelchair and handcycle racers;
- a 2k community awareness walk for all, including teams of walker-pushed wheelchairs; and,
- a 400-meter tot run!!!

Based at Albany's Jennings Landing Ampitheatre, the event raises awareness for healthy, active lifestyles regardless of disability, while raising funds to support the 16+ sport programs for individuals with disabilities that are provided each year by STRIDE Adaptive Sports.
**NEW** The Strides 4 STRIDE 5K course is now USA Track & Field certified, and the event is USA Track & Field Sanctioned! (Cert. Code NY15018JG, Sanction # 15 03 063)
Runners can strive for a "personal best" on a fast, flat, out-and-back course through the Corning Preserve riverfront, with chip timing provided by ARE Event Productions.
