Retail Sales Associate

Permanent Part-Time Position - 16-24 Hours per week (2-3 days)  One weekend day required per week.  Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.   
Relevant Retail Sales or Customer Service Experience Strongly Desired.  In addition to Retail Sales and Customer Service, job entails receiving inventory, pricing merchandise and stocking shelves; routine store cleaning; clerical tasks; and display/merchandising tasks, as assigned by the Store Manager or Owner.  Must be computer literate and comfortable using a computer Point of Sale System.  This is NOT a cashier job.
 
This is a Backyard Bird Feeding Hobby Store specializing in wild bird food, bird feeders, bird houses, hardware, and birdbaths. We also sell nature gifts, garden decor, children's toys and other nature-related products. You should have an interest in wild birds and other wildlife, gardening, and nature and the outdoors. We will teach you everything you need to know about the backyard bird feeding hobby.
