Seeking Candidates to serve on the Industrial Development AgencyThe Bethlehem Town Board is seeking candidates to serve on the Bethlehem Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The IDA provides financial assistance to eligible commercial and industrial projects in order to promote economic welfare and prosperity for the residents of the Town of Bethlehem. The IDA is responsible for the promotion, attraction, and development of job and recreational opportunities and economically sound commerce within the Town’s borders. For more information on the IDA, please visit the IDA website. The IDA meets at 8am on the fourth Wednesday of each month. In addition to attending meetings and reviewing documents in advance of meetings, IDA members should be able to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of people. It is the policy of Town of Bethlehem not to discriminate against any applicant because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status. Be sure to address any pertinent experience, including professional and personal experience that is relevant to the position. Letters should also state that serving on the IDA will not result in any professional conflicts of interest.
