Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Community Front Desk & Leasing Consultant based in the Town of Bethlehem, NY. Responsibilities include assisting prospective residents with inquiries, guiding them through the leasing process, and supporting lease administration. The role involves fostering resident satisfaction, addressing resident needs promptly, and contributing to retention efforts. As the face of the community, the Consultant will ensure exceptional customer service and maintain organized leasing operations while upholding community standards.
Description of Job Duties:
- This position reports to the Property Manager.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
- Greeting and welcoming residents, prospective residents, and other stakeholders. Represent the company in a positive, professional, and helpful manner at all times.
- Answering multiple phone lines and qualifying/directing phone calls throughout the company as necessary.
- Directing residents and guests to the appropriate office for assistance as needed.
- Receiving and relaying maintenance requests for work needing to be done in apartments and scheduling said maintenance requests within the online maintenance request system.
- Scheduling and facilitating work to be done by outside vendors with said vendors and residents.
- Maintaining appearance and cleanliness of Clubhouse space at all times – including, but not limited to, watering of outdoor plants, light cleaning responsibilities, tidiness of all Clubhouse spaces.
- Showing apartments within the community.
- Maintaining apartment availability and understanding of community offerings.
- Entering data and interacting with the online property management system multiple times daily.
- Following up with prospective residents on interest and availability.
- Processing community applications.
- Assisting with Open Houses and special events as necessary.
- Working with maintenance to handle apartment turnovers, move ins and move out and work order requests.
- Assisting new residents throughout the move-in process.
- Completing and maintaining availability and marketing material for prospects.
- Understanding of SpinneyLife and inclusion of the benefits of living well in sales script creation and communication. Supporting SpinneyLife/lifestyle team as necessary, including, but not limited to: scheduling door unlock access for events, completing inspections of Clubhouse space following events, and assisting with weekly coordination of food deliveries.
- Assisting with marketing and advertising projects and campaigns.
- Managing of Guest Cottage process – creating marketing/advertising content, calendaring reservations, scheduling cleanings, guest communication, survey follow-up, etc.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in all matters dealing with personnel, residents and management issues.
- Ensuring cleanliness and beauty of community grounds and Clubhouse.
- Weekend work may be required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Ability to obtain notary license within one year of employment.
- Assistance with other office-related duties as necessary – printing, RSVP tracking for events, copying, etc.
- Reliable transportation required for commuting and use during the workday.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Qualifications
- Experience with leases, lease administration, and related documentation preferred or willingness to learn
- Proven skills in resident retention and customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
- A customer-focused demeanor and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or a similar field preferred, but not required
- Basic proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office or willingness to learn
