DESCRIPTION:To prepare for our upcoming Capital Region Heart Walk/Run\, in less than two weeks\, there will be a 5k Training Program starting with some amazing running coaches and mentors. If you have ever wanted to learn the skills of running a 5k this could be a great opportunity for you! Registration for the 10-week Health for Good program will get you:\n\nA personalized running assessment and plan based on your individual running skills and goals\n\nGuidance on the proper mechanics of running/walking form as well as proper warm up and cool down stretches specific for recovery\n\nWeekly running assignments provided in addition to in-person training\n\nGuidance on proper nutrition\, hydration\, and attire when training\n\nOne on one in-person support to train alongside you and help you reach your goals\n\nThe experience of a fun team collaboration for race day!\n\nTraining Sessions begin April 3rd:\n\n\n\nLions Park/Niskayuna Bike Trail Thursdays at 5:30 pm - 5K Walkers 6:00 pm - 5K Runners or Run/ Walkers Program\n\n\n\nGet in touch for more information and registration information\, Jennifer.LaPorte@heart.org.
