DESCRIPTION:Summer Vacation Bible school for students entering 4-year-old Pre-K through 8th grade -- Discovery on Adventure Island.\n\n\n\nChildren will learn and grow through stories\, crafts\, music\, science\, and recreational activities. A snack will be provided. Middle schoolers will enjoy a separate track with a hands-on mission work focus. All volunteers will be Safe Sanctuaries certified.\n\n\n\nFrom a whimsical lighthouse on an enchanted island\, explorers are guided by a lighthouse keeper and Beacon the puffin on an exciting quest to find five mysterious Infinity Lanterns to help light their way. Using map coordinates from their Reference Book (the Bible)\, children discover clues to finding each lantern while leaning how God's light shines in their lives and familiar biblical characters in Old and New Testament stories.\n\n\n\nThis is a program of the Delmar Presbyterian Church\, Delmar Reformed Church\, and the First United Methodist Church of Delmar\n\n\n\nContact the First UMC office at churchoffice@delmarmethodist.org 518-439-9976\n\n\n\nRegister online www.delmarmethodist.org $50 per child
