Mini books are small but their impact is powerful. There are endless amazing designs for creating them. People are fascinated and entranced by them.

Join us to learn techniques for making three very different types of small books: Flag Book, Triangle Accordion, and X Book with Pockets (a sample of each is available to see in the store). 

You will also have the opportunity to plan how you would like to fill or illustrate the books. I will have lots of examples on hand so you can see the range of possibilities, many of which are easy to accomplish, from using magazine cut-outs or pretty papers or fabrics to including quotes to creating original artwork. Depending on the time available after making your books, you’ll have a chance to start working on the contents.

These books make perfect gifts because you can personalize them for the recipient. 

Feel free to bring scrapbooking paper, illustrated magazines, fabric, watercolor paints, colored pencils, fine tip pens: whatever excites you.

Also bring a ruler, good paper scissors and a glue stick. I will provide the paper for the book structures and some materials to choose from for the contents.

Class designed for teens through adults. Participants will leave with 3 book structures and a plan for completing any books not finished in class.
