Ecumenical Dementia Friendly Service

A special ecumenical dementia friendly service offered jointly by the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern NY and the Capital Area Council of Churches will be held Sunday, Sept. 17, starting at 5 pm, at the Delmar Presbyterian Church, 585 Delaware Ave, Delmar

This is a music-heavy worship featuring old-time hymns. A shortened service will last about 30 minutes and feature uplifting and brief messages for those with dementia, as well as their care partners. A reception with light refreshments will be held following the service.
